Hello Everyone!
Well, this time last year, my auntie from Kitten Kraftz helped me to open up a blog to help me with my mental health. My blog wasn't a very big hit at first, untill I started buying more crafty stuff and gaining a little inspiration from other blogs. A month after, January 2012, a teacher from school came to see me and brought me a Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine, and from then, I suddenly loved cardmaking more than any other craft. I started doing activities for my bloggers every week, weekly crafts that I do and published my photography.
Suddenly I was getting more comments and followers, I won the Liebster Award and the Versitile Blogger Award which I thank my followers for.
I then went into hospital and I was in there for 3 long months, but I still kept crafting there, making things with other people who struggled mentally.
I then got the Subscriber of the Month Award from the CM&PC magazine, this shocked me as my story from where I got my first magazine to what I did in hospital made them want to share my story.
So, now then, I have spent a lot of time on ebay and going through my stash to figure out what to give away. I have a got a nice little bundle of celebratory stuff (mostly christmas).

ReplyDeleteI am not from Europe but am now following you anyhow. I too suffer from some type of metal illness, panic attacks and general anxiety have been part of my life for almost a year now so hang in there! Crafting is a wonderful way to ease the mind!

Nearly there for your one year anniversary honey. Congrats! What a lovely and inspiring story, behind every crafter there's a story be it sad, happy or just a hobby.
